TAMARA MALMESTROM DE LAVAL
Works and lives in Malmo, Sweden.
Educated at the College of Decorative Arts, Stockholm 1974-76
Royal College of Art, Stockholm 1976-81.
Elected into the artistgroup AURA 1987. Its chairwoman in the 1990s.
Curator of the artist group Meteor www.meteorprojekt.se.
Meteor makes exhibitions, events and performances mainly in public
spaces and works as a platform for younger and older artists and
street artists working with art projects.

2006 Curating Egyptian part of videoscreenings "Coding-Decoding" at
Nikolaj Center of Contemporary Art, Copenhagen and Roskilde Museum of

2005-06 working with a video and photographic project in Egypt and
south Sweden in collaboration with Ihab abd el Latif, Astrid
Goransson, John Skoog, Ossian Theselius, Isabel Theselius
Curated and coordinated an exhibitionproject and a workshop at
Dakshina Chitra Museum, Chennai, India and Boras Museum of Modern Art,
Sweden . The exhibitions Sites of Recurrence I and II took place in
